Founded in 1983, Montclair Construction & Structural Inc. was built to address the unique structural challenges of the San Francisco Bay Area. From steep East Bay hillsides and expansive clay soils to seismic fault lines, homes in Oakland, Berkeley, and Piedmont require specialized construction knowledge.
We are a licensed California contractor with both General Engineering and General Building capabilities. This rare combination allows us to handle both below-ground structural engineering and fine above-ground custom carpentry and remodeling.

Pre-Design & Project Initiation

Create structural plans, floor level surveys, engineering calculations, and detailed project roadmaps.
Procurement & Permitting
Submit plans for Bay Area city permits (Oakland, Berkeley, Piedmont) and secure specialized materials.
Construction & Monitoring
Oversee daily excavation, framing, concrete pours, and structural installation with strict safety compliance.
Post-Construction & Closeout
Perform final city building inspections, client site walkthrough, cleanup, and documentation sign-off.
